Auction Terms & Conditions

Golf Cart Charity Auction benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County
Conducted by The Club at Weston Hills (the "Club").

By placing a bid you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

Bidding is open to Club members and their immediate family members who are 18 years of age or older.
The Club may verify a bidder's identity and membership status and may reject or cancel any bid from a bidder who cannot be verified.
Club employees may not participate.

Bidding opens Mon, Nov 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time and closes Mon, Nov 30, 2026 at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, unless extended as described below.
The Club's server clock is the official time for all bids.
The Club may extend, pause, shorten, or cancel the auction at its discretion, including for technical problems or suspected misuse.

The opening bid is $4,000. Each subsequent bid must be at least $100 higher than the current high bid and in $100 increments.
All bids are binding and cannot be withdrawn or reduced. Please double-check your bid amount before confirming.
Bidders must provide their true full name, a valid email address, and a valid phone number. Bids with false or incomplete information may be voided.
If two bids are received for the same amount, the bid received first is the higher bid.
The Club may reject or void any bid, in its sole discretion, including bids it believes were placed in error, in bad faith, or to manipulate the auction.
Outbid and confirmation emails are a courtesy. The Club is not responsible for emails or bids that are delayed or not received due to internet, email, device, or other technical problems.

The auction page shows bid amounts and times only. Bidder names and contact information are not displayed publicly.
Your name, email, phone number, and member number are collected solely to administer this auction (including contacting the winning bidder and sending bid notifications) and are available only to Club staff administering the auction. They will not be sold or shared, except with the beneficiary as needed to provide a donation acknowledgment.

The highest valid bid at the close of the auction wins. The Club will contact the winning bidder by phone and/or email within two (2) business days of the end of the auction.
If the winning bidder cannot be reached, or does not complete payment as required below, the Club may offer the item to the next highest bidder or re-offer the item.

Payment in full is due within seven (7) days of notification, by check, certified check or credit card. All payments will be made to the Arcis Foundation.
The purchase price does not include any applicable sales tax, title, registration, or delivery fees, which are the responsibility of the winning bidder.

The item is an E-Z-GO RXV Fleet Elite electric golf cart.
The golf cart has been donated and is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except any manufacturer's warranty that transfers with the item.
Descriptions and photos are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the item; contact the Club to arrange a viewing.
The winning bidder is responsible for any street-legal registration, insurance, and compliance with community or HOA rules regarding golf cart use.

The item must be picked up from The Club at Weston Hills within thirty (30) days after receipt of funds, at a time arranged with the Club.
Risk of loss passes to the winning bidder at pickup.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the Arcis Foundation who will then make a contribution in the name of the Club to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

The Club's decisions on all matters relating to the auction are final.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club, Arcis Golf, Arcis Foundation, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, and the item's donor are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the auction or use of the item.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
The Club may update these terms before the auction opens. The version posted at the time of your bid applies to that bid.
